This year, rather than just our usual Gradball, we are holding a whole week of events for both this years Graduates as well as class of 2020 Graduates - welcome to Gradfest 2021!

Its been almost 2 years since we last held Gradball, one of our biggest nights of the year, celebrating everyones achievements and providing one final all-night extravaganza to see off the end of your studies here at Surrey. We saw so many students miss out on their final semester/final year of partying at Rubix, so to make up for all of this, we're throwing 2 extra nights of entertainment alongside Gradball!

Gradfest FAQs

Which events can I come to?

Tickets for all events are open to anybody, we're selling a limited number of non-student tickets for each event (once these are gone, they're gone!), class of 2020 graduates are able to purchase student tickets through Tixtu - please bring either your URN or student ID if you still have it. Whilst we have labelled the events as Class of 2020 week, and Class of 2021 week, these are purely based on the graduations happening that week and there are no restrictions on what events you can attend.

I Graduated last year, can I come to Gradfest?

Yes! Class of 2020 graduates are able to purchase student tickets through Tixtu - please bring either your URN or student ID if you still have it.

Can I bring students from other universities or non-students?

Yes, students from other institutions can use a student ticket so long as they bring their student ID and normal ID also - non-student tickets are currently on sale, however are limited (so don't delay in getting your tickets if you want to bring guests!)

Will I be able to get a refund if I can no longer come?

We are only able to offer a refund on tickets in exceptional circumstances (ie. Rubix is not allowed to open due to government coronavirus restrictions) - please allow for isolation requirements if you are travelling from abroad for graduation. Accidental Purchase is not sufficient grounds for a refund.

Can I get a room for Graduation?

You can apply for a room in halls over the Graduation weeks through store.surrey.ac.uk
