Rubix is a multi purpose nightclub, concert and conference venue with a 1550 capacity. 

For decades, the venue has hosted artists and DJs including Stormzy, Tinie Tempeh, Wilkinson, Sigma, Kano, Charli XCX, EZ, Fredo, Krept and Konan, SClub 7, Pixie Lott, Chase and Status, Calvin Harris, Example, Pendulum, DJ Fresh, Scouting For Girls, Example, Basshunter, Netsky, Sigala, The Darkness, Yungen, Annie Mac, even Led Zeppelin and The Jam to name a few! 

The venue has 4 floors, 4 bars (Bottle Bar, PJD's upper/lower, Hari's Bar and the VK Bar), an outdoor patio and even a balcony that oversees the dancefloor! Rubix is also attached to The Basement via a stairhole, therefore on our largest nights we essentially have 2 whole nightclubs open for you!

On a typical week, we have 2 reoccuring club nights: Citrus on Wednesdays, and Flirt! on Fridays, however throughout the week you'll also see other amazing events such as the Funk Soul Disco, Mediterranean Night, Asian Nights and more... in the busiest periods the nightclub is sometimes open 7 days-a-week... providing you the perfect place to let your hair loose and have some fun!

In addition to an amazing line-up of weekly club nights, Rubix also hosts daytime events which ensure the Union building is always bustling with activity. The ever-popular Thursday market sells fruit, vegetables, bread, and cakes, all at bargain prices, whilst on afternoons you'll oftne find fitness sessions, and student led events such as the One World Exhibition and Refreshers Fayre!
