
Union Ball
The Union Ball is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies that we have at Surrey.
The ball includes a dinner, an awards ceremony, and of course a dance, as we come together to celebrate the achievements of societies and individuals!

How are nominees shortlisted and winners chosen?
Each Zone within the Union is allocated awards in which the Zone Committee Members with the support of the Vice President are tasked with analysing and coming up with the shortlist. Below are the awards and which Zone decides the outcome:

The Sabbatical Team
Following the shortlisting, the Sabbatical Team meet and analyse the Union Ball shortlisted awards and decide winners. If any of the sabbatical team have any conflicts of interest with individuals or societies, they are not included in the decision of the relevant award
