One World Week is our annual celebration of culture! At Surrey we have a diverse community which encompasses many nationalities. At the heart of One World Week are our incredible students and societies, who bring you a whole host of exciting stuff to celebrate and educate on their traditions, heritage and culture.

One World Week

One World Week hosts a wide range of exciting events, including: 

• The One World Week Exhibition, celebrating the faiths, cultures and sub-cultures we have at Surrey through a variety of external stalls and society stalls, as well as lots of great food! The Fair has also hosted guest speakers, Barijs Chohan and Claire Ighodaro CBE as well as Let's Talk: Culture, a panel event  which featured students from different parts of the world discussing their understanding of culture.
  

• The One World Showcase is an extravaganza of performances from our cultural societies showcasing a range of traditional and contemporary music and dance to students, staff and the local community. With elaborate choroegrpahy and stunning costumes this event is a dazzling spectacle.
